Take Care of Yourself
Take Care of Your Business

Upon entering the world of entrepreneurship, I soon realised female founders are expected to have Avengers levels of superpowers. We are expected to assume the role of entrepreneur and shed all other identities that have gone before us in order to fit the mould and play the game. We are expected to live like our lives don’t really exist, be available at all times and pull the blinkers down on the world around us so we can only see one goal – business survival.
Well to that I say
GAME OVER
Today’s Female Founder’s Aspire For More
To Have More
To Be More
Gone are:
X The days of hustling,
X Unauthentic marketing and squirmy sales
X Constantly compromising on family life and social time
X Constant guilt
X Continuous comparisons to people 5 years ahead of you
X Second guessing decisions
X Feeling out of your depth or that you don’t belong
X Chasing goals that don’t actually bring you happiness
Hustle culture has led to many women feeling like imposters in their own business as they don’t fit the mould of a ‘real founder.’
It has locked in unrealistic expectations about pace and progress, that shut out the presence of life outside of work; blinding women to their unique strengths and the skillsets they bring and leaving unrealised potential and earnings adrift in the universe.
It is time to do things differently!
It is time to curate businesses that complement our lives and bring fulfilment and joy alongside financial success.
It’s time to lead with authenticity and the knowledge and skills that will empower you to choose:
Balance over Burnout
Compassion over Critique
Productivity over Procrastination
Connection over Comparison
Self-belief over Self Sabotage
The wellbeing revolution has begun – and I’m leading the charge!
Who’s joining me?
